“Tim Adams was ahead of the pack when it came to planting this variety and is remarkably consistent, producing his house style, seemingly regardless of vintage variation.  It is very much a gris and captures the natural acidity of the Clare Valley, affording it freshness and energy.  Medium yellow colour, can’t help but see a (varietal) faint pink edge. Classic, pear-driven aromatics are overt, ripe and generous. A well-weighted palate with fruit and acid in balance. Benchmark style, if we’re being true-to-style.”
