Stage Door Wine Co. Riesling 2021

The 2021 Stage Door Riesling is a single vineyard Riesling grown on the Avon Brae vineyard in Eden Valley. It pale straw in colour with an inviting nose lime. This follows through to a broad palate of lemon and lime over mandarin and a lemon sherbet finish.

“Fruit from the Avon Brae Vineyard. Includes a small parcel aged in French barriques. At the more fl oral and sweeter citrus end of the spectrum for the style, but shows classic structure nonetheless. The aromas and flavours of lime cordial and mandarin are fresh and pure, the fine acidity long and lingering. I think these’s a hint of the barrique component in the bouquet.”
