Nestled at the foot of the Cullerin Range at Lake George in New South Wales’ Canberra District, Lerida Estate Winery is dedicated to making distinctive, world class wines that represent the unique and beautiful site on which they are grown.

Through the combination of cutting edge vineyard management, meticulous winemaking, a magnificent cool climate site and their spectacular Glenn Murcutt designed winery, Lerida Estate strives to provide a welcoming and memorable visitor experience to stand alongside their exceptional Canberra District wines.

Lerida Estate is the manifestation of a long-held passion to make outstanding Pinot Noir.  The selection of Lerida as a vineyard and winery site was influenced by the work of Dr. Edgar Riek at, next-door, Lake George Wines. Favouring wild yeast fermentation and naturally ripened bunch tannins, Edgar succeeded in making some of the greatest New World Pinots.  With Edgar’s experience in mind, Lerida Estate aspire to produce world class Pinot Noir, made from low-yielding vines with elegant, secondary flavours using wild yeast and minimal intervention.

Beyond Pinot Noir, Lerida Estate also grow Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz. Shiraz produces fantastic fruit from their site, although tremendous demand requires they seek fruit from some of the best growers in the broader Canberra District, who are selected with a view to sourcing fruit that complements that grown on the Lerida Estate site.
